How It Started

Chiara asked a simple question: What if every young person understood how energy shapes their world?

Too often, clean energy conversations leave kids out. Chiara believed education should start early—and be equitable—so every child, no matter their background, can see themselves in the future of sustainability. That vision became Energizing Youth.

Why It Matters

Energy powers everything around us, but the way it’s produced affects both the planet and communities. By making clean energy education accessible and fair, we empower youth not just to learn about sustainability, but to imagine new solutions that work for everyone. For Chiara, this work is personal. She knows what it feels like when energy isn’t accessible or sustainable. Energizing Youth is her way of turning that experience into action—ensuring kids everywhere have the tools and knowledge to build a brighter, fairer future.

What We Do

We bring sustainable energy to life for K–8 students through:

• Hands-on experiments with solar, wind, and storage.

• Creative workshops where kids reimagine their neighborhoods powered by clean energy.
